HARBOR-BID

TERMS OF USE

Effective October 9, 2026

These Terms govern buyer accounts, seller applications, auctions, and Captain's Charity Boats donation inquiries.

Account use

Provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and use Harbor-Bid lawfully. Access may be limited or revoked for policy violations or inaccurate information.

Buyer terms

Bidding requires a Harbor-Bid account. No bidding deposit or $50 nonpayment charge applies during the pilot. Payment is due within seven days; nonpaying buyers may be restricted. A winning bid is a commitment to purchase subject to the listing and applicable law. Buyers must review disclosures, fees, deadlines, pickup requirements, and taxes.

Seller terms

Private boat owners may submit through the Private Seller Marketplace; commercial seller access requires approval. During the launch pilot, private sellers pay no listing fee and no seller commission. After the pilot, the standard 7.5% seller commission applies to new private listings. Private listings approved during the pilot keep their zero-commission offer, even if sold after the pilot ends. Private buyers pay a 7.5% buyer premium plus a $99 document fee; applicable taxes and transport are extra. An application or asset submission does not create approval or a right to list. Harbor-Bid may require verification of authority to sell, title and lien information, condition disclosures, photos, reserve terms, and pickup requirements.

Listings and condition

Unless expressly stated otherwise, assets are offered as disclosed and without warranty. Buyers should independently verify information and inspect when available.

Payment and pickup

Winning buyers must pay all amounts due within the listing deadline. Pickup is permitted only after cleared payment and required release documentation.

Captain's Charity Boats

Donation inquiries are screening requests only and do not promise acceptance, pickup, possession, charitable treatment, or a tax receipt. Qualified recipient organizations determine acceptance and documentation.

Changes

Harbor-Bid may update these Terms. Continued use means you accept the revised Terms.
